Bob’s 2009 Christmas Puzzle Card

Santa’s Sleigh Packing Puzzle

puzzle 1      solution
Use the suction-conveyor to move groups of letters from the shop floor into the sleigh, spelling Christmas phrases.

Gifts (represented by letters in squares) are in random order on the shop floor, and must be moved into Santa’s sleigh in the right order. Gifts can be moved by a conveyor device with suction arms. The arms can pick up a group of gifts and drop them in the sleigh, keeping the exact spacing between gifts. Gray boxes indicate gifts already on the sleigh, and gifts cannot be placed on top of each other. Each packing task can be solved in three or four moves. When gifts are properly packed, they will spell a Christmas phrase.
